FDA has Approved Linzess to Treat Certain Cases of Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Constipation

U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved Linzess (linaclotide) for the treatment of chronic form of idiopathic constipation and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS-C) with constipation.  Approximately 63 million people are affected with constipation according to the national institute of health.
