Scientists have developed a new hybrid medical imaging technique to see internal organs live. This research was done by scientist at University of Southern California in Los Angeles and Washington University in St. Louis. This imaging technique utilizes two pre-existing techniques named as photoacoustic and ultrasound to generate more powerful, high contrast and high resolution image that could facilitate physicians in rapid identification of tumors.
