Dermatologists have warned black people that they are at risk of developing skin cancer named as Melanoma. Skin cancer occurs more frequently in white persons due reduced level of melanin pigment. Dr. Valencia Thomas of the Harris County Hospital District, in Texas said that black people could also suffer skin cancer if they expose to sun rays for prolong period of time.
