Latest study which was conducted by Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University has shown that in future microneedles would be used for administration of drug molecules into human eyes. This research was published in July issue of the journal Investigative Ophthalmology & Visual Science.
Researchers have claimed that they have discovered a new weapon that could be effective for resistant TB. This study was presented during a conference of International AIDS in Washington. This new weapon consist of combination of three drugs which could eradicate Mycobacterium tuberculosis (causative agent of TB) upto 99% when administration in small population.
